I Really Have to Keep You Under Control, Tanjiro

Lin Chuan is a little-known gaming creator who unexpectedly receives a mysterious beta-testing invitation: a payment of 100,000 yuan, a nondisclosure agreement, and a USB drive filled with unknown games. He assumes it’s just an ordinary game test, but after installing the game, he discovers that it takes place in the familiar world of Demon Slayer, and that he’s controlling Tanjiro Kamado, a kind and resilient young man. From the player’s perspective, Lin Chuan immerses himself in the incredibly realistic anime world. Every action feels smooth and natural, and he assumes it’s all the result of the development team’s careful design. Meanwhile, Tanjiro is gripped by unprecedented terror. His body suddenly moves against his will, making all kinds of bizarre movements. He fights with all his might, but can only attribute the invisible force to being possessed by a demon, even treating it with awe as though it were controlled by a god. Little does he know that Demon Slayer is only the beginning of this “game test.” As he plays on, Lin Chuan will unlock more popular anime worlds, controlling different characters and completing “game missions” in each one. He remains a player on the sidelines, enjoying the thrill of immersive gameplay. But the characters under his control will all have to face this mysterious force from “another world,” plunged into the terror of the unknown.
