Evil Spirits Return: I Grow Stronger with the Delivery System

I was eaten by my best friend. That night, he came over for a drink. As we drank, his face split open, revealing teeth that no human should have. He ate me, starting with my feet, one bite at a time. After I died, I became a wandering spirit. I drifted for seven days, then finally stole a stranger’s body and survived. My new identity was Li Mo, 28 years old, living alone, and socially anxious. A perfect shell. I thought I could quietly keep living, until a System appeared in my mind 【You have a new order: Deliver food to Building 7, Room 302】 Building 7, Room 302. I live in Building 3, Room 302. She was my neighbor. The woman I waited for at the elevator with every day, exchanging the occasional nod and smile. The System told me: She’s a ghost. How many others were there in this complex? The suited man I met in the elevator, the old man walking his dog downstairs, the resident in Building 9 who never spoke The System told me about them one by one. They had no idea I knew. Every day, I greeted them as usual, waited for the elevator as usual, and accepted the packages they handed me as usual. Until one day, I came home after finishing a delivery. A steaming takeout meal was sitting on the dining table. Beside it was a note: “Thank you.” It was signed, Building 7, Room 302. She knew where I lived. She knew I’d delivered food to her. Was she truly grateful, or was she testing me? In this complex, who was human, and who was a ghost? I didn’t know. But the System would tell me, little by little. With every delivery, there was one more neighbor who didn’t know that I knew their secret A neighbor.
