You on the Other Side of the Wall

He had been married for three years and was known as the most abstinent CEO of the Fu family.

Until the night of a banquet, when he fell in love at first sight with a girl in a red dress.

He added her on WeChat, waited for her to finish work, and drove her home in the rain. He did every forbidden thing.

“Fu Shenyan, you’re married.”

“I know.”

“Then why are you coming after me?”

He pinned her against the wall, his eyes reddening. “Shen Xiangsi, ever since I first saw you, I haven’t been able to control myself.”

What he didn’t know was this:

Her appearance in his life had been part of a scheme ten years in the making.

·

Later, he divorced and searched for her for three years.

When they met again, she was holding another man’s hand, her smile distant.

He gripped her wrist tightly, his voice hoarse.

“Shen Xiangsi, tell me. Did you ever love me?”

She pulled her hand free and walked away without looking back.

He didn’t know that night she had cried for hours over his photo on her phone.

With a wall between them, he went mad outside.

Inside, she was about to lose her mind too.
