Countdown: I Came from the Future, Yet I Came to Kill You

Other people find cats and dogs on their morning runs. Wen Nian glances down and finds a stunningly handsome man with amnesia. He claims to come from a hundred years in the future. He acts adorably foolish and completely unhinged. Wen Nian, a top-tier heartbreaker, secretly laughs: A catch like this has practically delivered himself to me. I’d be a fool not to take him. While keeping the three men in her own little harem on the hook, she plans to keep Shi Leping firmly under her thumb. But who could have guessed that this man would refuse to play by the usual rules? He blows hot and cold with her, yet clings to her powerful CEO brother, Wen Ci, day after day, behaving so strangely it is downright frightening. Wen Nian falls deeper and deeper. Just as she begins to develop real feelings, she stumbles upon a shocking scheme. All his tenderness was an act. He never came here to fall in love. He came to kill her brother, and her! “A hundred years from now, women will be extinct, and the world-ending virus will have begun with you and your brother.” Shi Leping looks at her, his eyes filled with anguish and inner turmoil. “I have to kill you both to save the future.” Wen Nian laughs until tears stream down her face. “I’ve spent my whole life playing with people’s feelings, and I actually fell for you?” His eyes are red as he says each word like a madman: “I came to kill you, but I also... love you.” Love demands that they stay together; fate demands that they kill each other. A life-and-death countdown spanning a hundred years has officially begun. This time, is he an executioner come to claim her life, or a madman who will protect her?
