Unnamed Starry Night

In the second semester of her junior year, Shen Ye suddenly transfers into Class 1 of the senior class and becomes Lin Xingwan’s new deskmate. Two people wearing different masks find themselves under the pressure of the college entrance exam countdown, gradually moving from silent resistance to an unspoken closeness. Xingwan discovers the tenderness beneath Shen Ye’s cold exterior, while Shen Ye sees the scars behind Xingwan’s sunny smile. They share a pair of earphones in the study hall late at night and gaze at the same starry sky from the rooftop, only for a carefully engineered misunderstanding, a wishing bottle that never gets delivered, and a silent farewell on the eve of the college entrance exam to bring their budding feelings to an abrupt end.

Six years later, on a winter night in Beijing, Shen Ye, now an architectural designer, runs into Xingwan at a subway station as she returns to give a speech at her alma mater. Time has passed, but the stars remain the same. Can they find their way back to the words they never said?
