A Guide to Building Civilization in the Wilds

After a car accident, modern-day doctor Sun Ying transmigrates to a primitive beast world, where she becomes Ying, a frail female of the Black Wolf tribe regarded as dead weight. She must face not only a harsh natural environment, but also deep-rooted prejudice and contempt within the tribe. The antagonists, Scarface, the deputy chief who covets the position of leader, and Li, a female jealous that the wolf king Lei has taken an interest in her, constantly question and sabotage her every attempt, trying to marginalize her completely or even drive her out. Sun Ying’s fate rests on this: if she cannot help the tribe solve its food shortages, illness, and lack of protection from the cold before winter arrives, not only will she, a “useless” female, be abandoned, but the entire tribe may lose members to hunger, cold, and disease, bringing it to the brink of destruction.
