This Senior Brother Is Clearly Overpowered, Yet Unbelievably Cautious

My name is Lin Changsheng. I transmigrated into a world of immortal cultivation and kept my head down for a full ten thousand years. My goal is clear: avoid entanglements of cause and effect, stay out of trouble, and quietly live until the end of time. But my sect just had to saddle me with a junior sister. She’s great in every way, except she’s not too bright and seems to have a knack for getting into trouble. I wanted to avoid the karmic consequences of poisonous herbs, so I casually slapped away her hand as she reached for one. Her face flushed red. “Senior Brother, if you want to hold hands, just say so. Why play such an intense game of push and pull?” To save her from punishment in class, I sent her the answer telepathically. She went weak all over. “Senior Brother, you… you actually flirted with me in front of everyone!” Help! I just want to be an unremarkable nobody. Why does she always think I’m manipulating her? Qin Wan'er: “Hmph, Senior Brother, you’re playing hard to get again. Do you think I can’t see through you?” Lin Changsheng: “I’m not! I didn’t! Please stop making things up! Keep this up and you’ll shatter my ten-thousand-year Daoist heart!”
