Honkai: Star Rail Unofficial History: Nous Sings Through Tears, 'Brothers, Give Me a Hug'

A livestream of unofficial history and fan-made lore descends upon the world.

The first video takes stock of a tragic figure: Legus.

Unmarried, with two children: her eldest son is rebellious, while her younger son wants to steal his big brother’s inheritance. Legus, widowed in Amphoreus and desperately lonely, gets thoroughly invaded by the livestream, which plays Nous and Iron Curtain singing “Brothers, Give Me a Hug.” She becomes the tragic figure who moves the whole audience.

So here’s the question: Why is Legus widowed? Why does Iron Curtain want to steal his big brother’s inheritance?

A. Nous is a rebellious girl who falls in love with Polka Kakamond, and together they elbow a genius who wants to study the Unknowable Domain.

B. Nous is so rebellious that Legus, the widow, is always crying her eyes red, so she starts wearing an eyepatch. Iron Curtain, a devoted filial son, can’t stand seeing his mother so heartbroken over his big brother, so he kills his rebellious brother to win Legus’s favor.

C. Legus finally finds true love with Nanook and has Iron Curtain with him. But Nous discovers that the child has an extreme form of antisocial personality disorder and tries to warn Legus to stay away from Nanook. By then, though, Legus is so smitten with the dark-skinned athlete Nanook that she can’t tell up from down. She kicks her eldest son out with nothing and has the brother who killed him claim the inheritance.

D. Nous and Iron Curtain love each other so much that they created this song to win Legus’s favor.

Sparkle: 666, I woke up and Aha had dropped to third place on the Elation rankings.

Aha: Hahahaha! The family drama of that piece of scrap metal Nous is such a riot, hahahahaha!

Poor Legus: Children, this isn’t funny.
