Fox Spirit Matchmaker: The Goofy Taoist and the Dimwitted Fox Immortal

[Feel-Good Power Fantasy] [Multiple Heroines] [Fixing the Original’s Regrets]

Bai Yuechu, the “broke Taoist,” has memories of his past life, but he’s also inherited the original’s greedy, food-loving, swaggering soul, along with a “glorious record” of being bullied by Wang Fugui for three years and beaten 114,514 times.

To fight an arranged marriage, he storms a dating show called True Love Is Invincible, No Money, No Way In, holds up a T-shirt with the word “Broke” on it, and proposes in front of everyone: “Woman, marry me! I’m going to ruin the bad guys’ plans!”

Afterward, Wang Fugui tries to butt in, only for Bai Yuechu to knock the swaggering Wang Fugui flat with three quick slaps, activating the [Face-Slapping System]: slap someone in the face and get stronger. It’s the perfect cure for anyone who refuses to behave!

The original plot? A few tweaks make it even more fun!

The adorable fox Tu Shan Susu drops from the sky and smashes the Marriage Stone. Fan Yunfei turns into a mutt in the blink of an eye and gets sent flying with a stick. Li Xueyang angrily calls him a “stray dog”... Bai Yuechu protects Susu with one hand and shakes people down with the other, forcing Xiao Li, the secretary from West West Domain, to hand over a warehouse as payment. He even recruits the Four Bodyguards and renames them “Gan Wen Cui Shan” (Jackie Chan fans will love this).

When Wang Fugui foolishly mocks him as a “loli-con,” Boss Bai launches a group beatdown lesson: “If we don’t leave him swollen, I lose!”
