A Child Soldier in the 1980s: The Whole Family Dotes on Me

[Period setting + adored by the whole family + contrast comedy + healing + no romance + everyone dotes on their daughter]

Once a decisive child soldier on the anti-Japanese battlefield, Little Maomao opens her eyes to find herself in the gold-rush 1980s.

There’s no gunfire or hunger, but a kind stranger sends her to an orphanage, and then the richest family in town, the Gu family, adopts her?

For three generations, the Gu family has been a house of men, and they’re desperate for a girl!

Looking at the luxurious food and clothes around her, Little Maomao thinks, “This is a honey trap! Stay alert!”

She hides expensive Swiss chocolate in the wall as emergency rations, digs a foxhole in the garden with its million-yuan renovation, and patrols the mansion at night with a fruit knife.

The whole Gu family is heartbroken for her:

Tycoon Dad: “How much did Zhuzhu suffer before? Buy half the city’s supply-and-marketing co-ops for her!”

Overbearing CEO Big Brother: “Anyone who dares raise their voice at my sister will regret it.”

School Heartthrob Third Brother: “My sister looks so cool with that knife! Teach me how!”

This is probably a heartwarming, hilariously chaotic story about a family that runs a top-tier wealthy household like an enemy stronghold, only to spoil their little girl rotten until she’s the apple of their eye.
