The Adorable Little One Uses Gu to Turn the Military Base Upside Down, and Her Austerely Handsome Dad Spoils Her Like Crazy

Gu Miaomiao, a naughty little girl from the Miao borderlands, is three and a half years old. After her grandmother dies, she stuffs a pocket full of “little cuties” into her clothes, grabs her little bundle, and sets off alone on the difficult journey to the military district to find her father. What's the military compound like? It's the place with the most rules in the whole world. But Gu Miaomiao is the most unruly kid in the whole world.

The cold, restrained Commander Gu looks at the grubby little girl at the gate and furrows his brow. “Whose child are you?”

Gu Miaomiao puts her hands on her hips, trying to look fierce. “I'm your daughter! If you don't acknowledge me, I'll use my gu on you!”

From then on, the disciplined military compound descends into chaos. One family loses a chicken, another family's child is scared to tears, and even the fiercest military dog gives her a wide berth. Every day, Commander Gu is either cleaning up his daughter's messes or on the verge of a heart attack from sheer frustration.

Then one day, someone sees the usually stern Commander Gu clumsily tying little pigtails for his daughter, his eyes full of tenderness he can't hide. Only then does the whole military district understand: this isn't just a little troublemaker who's arrived, she's a little princess!
