Ten-Round Showdown: Ke Xia Vs. Shen Artificial Intelligence

In the ruins of the AI age, rekindling the flame of human Go

When AI has reduced Go to cold mathematics and every move has become submission to the curves of winning probabilities, Ke Jie, once the king of the Go world, has been retired for years in the future of 2036. Then a wax-sealed letter bearing a nineteen-line Go board arrives across time, sent by Shin Jinseo, the invincible “Shin AI,” who has merged with quantum intelligence. He issues a forbidden challenge: a ten-game match returning to the game’s roots, with all AI banned. The stake is the last soul of Go.

This is no simple tale of transmigration and revenge. It is a tragic struggle against the age itself. Carrying on the legacy of Go Saint Nie Weiping and holding warm Yun Zi stones, Ke Jie enters a future arena built from holographic projections and neural interfaces. He relies on the intuition, mistakes, and almost stubborn “ugly shapes” unique to humans. Across the board stands Shin Jinseo, whose calculations have reached perfection, yet who is trapped in existential loneliness. Their contest has long surpassed personal grudges, becoming a question that shakes the age: in the face of the ultimate evolution of absolute rationality, do the imperfect yet brilliant “divine moves” of human skill still have a place? This epic blends hard-core Go, science-fiction suspense, and humanistic reflection. It depicts not only the breathtaking clashes of attack and defense on the board, but also the reflections and ultimate redemption of two lonely souls swept along by the tide of their era. Here, classical Go collides fiercely with quantum rules, and human players rise to glory once more.
