Rule Horror: Starting by Saving the Bizarre Pokemon

When Pei Xiaofei woke up, he had already died 400 times in the dilapidated Pokémon Day Care in Lavender Town.

This land, shrouded in "sinister miasma," had twisted all Pokemon into mutated hunters ruled by the laws of resentment.

Bound by a curse, every time he died, his soul was reborn in a grudge-egg as "nourishment," retaining all his memories and scars. It was endless torment, but also his only way out.

"Grudge Plunder" was the only talent he had wrung from his 400 deaths.

By hunting mutated Pokemon, he could permanently steal their abilities and moves, at the cost of his body losing its "human form" and his soul becoming corrupted. Rock-like scales on his chest, a torn wing on his back, blood coursing with resentful lightning... Step by step, he was becoming the very monster he hated most.

To hatch the legendary "Void Pokemon" said to be capable of purifying everything and put an end to this endless cycle, Pei Xiaofei had to venture deep into the heart of the miasma and face the "Grudge Clone" formed from the resentment of his previous 403 deaths: the corrupted Mewtwo, along with the ultimate terror at the source of all resentment: the corrupted Mew.

This time, the prey he had to hunt was every past version of himself, and all the despair on this land.
