I Flirted with the Celibate Imperial Preceptor by Mistake, and the Mad Big Shot Turned Dark!

She is Tuoba Yuan, burdened with her mother's clan's blood feud and married off to Xiliang. Her sights are set on Rong Yan, the aloof and otherworldly Imperial Preceptor who holds power over the court. A love-binding poison worm marks the beginning of her revenge. She carefully plans every move, using every means to “seduce” him, never imagining that this “immortal master” is hopelessly lovestruck. He takes every one of her tests as a trial sent by heaven and secretly protects her in the name of “accepting heaven's will.”

Deep within the palace, she searches for the truth amid his quiet favoritism. He, meanwhile, regards her as his one and only “heavenly tribulation,” willingly bearing it as she draws near, then pulls away. When she cruelly “entangles” herself with another man in front of him to further her revenge and sever their ties, his Daoist heart shatters, and the backlash from his cultivation leaves him gravely ill. Worse still, when her true enemy finally emerges, she realizes that she chose the wrong target for revenge from the very beginning!

The once ethereal Imperial Preceptor falls into demonic cultivation after the double blow of betrayal and the collapse of his faith. His ink-black hair cascades down, his eyes turn scarlet, and he keeps her imprisoned at his side. His former tenderness becomes possessive obsession. “Your Highness,” he whispers close to her ear, his voice cold as ice, “since you used a love worm to bind me, I will use love to imprison you in hell.” With the poison worm now the only bond between them, how will this love and hatred, ignited by misunderstanding, finally end?
