After Breaking Off the Engagement, the Unhinged Regent Gripped My Waist

A daughter of the Luo family was once betrothed to the heir of the Duke of Dingguo. But on the eve of their wedding, he publicly broke off the engagement and humiliated her, turning her into a laughingstock.

The whole capital was waiting to see her make a fool of herself. Instead, the very next day she married in grand style, becoming the emperor’s aunt by marriage, someone her ex would have to kneel and greet!

On their wedding night, the abstinent regent, who holds power over the court, lays down three rules: they must not dine together, share a room, or overstep their bounds.

Luo Feiyan looks pitifully aggrieved on the outside, but inside she is delighted. All she wants is to make money and punish scoundrels.

But will someone explain what is going on with this man, whose words say one thing while his actions say another?

When her ex and his scheming cousin come to pay their respects, she has not even said a word before he orders, “She failed to pay her respects to an elder. Slap her.”

At a palace banquet, when the noblewomen mock her merchant family background, he peels a plate of shrimp for her himself and says coldly, “The princess consort’s rules are the rules of the prince’s residence.”

Later, he even shields her and makes plans to help her conquer the world.

It is only when he takes out an old purse from ten years ago and says with reddened eyes, “I’ve waited for you for ten years,” that Luo Feiyan realizes she has long since fallen into the tender trap of this abstinent, dangerously obsessive wolf.
