In the Famine Years, I Use My Storage Space to Stockpile and Keep My Whole Family Well Fed

[No goody-two-shoes heroine + stockpiling from the start + the whole family fights back + farming and infrastructure building + slow-burn sweet romance]

The Daqian era is gripped by drought, and corpses litter the land. Lin Wan is reborn as a farm girl who has just lost her parents. With three younger siblings who are little more than skin and bones, she is driven by her awful aunt to a ramshackle hut to wait for death.

Her younger sister is about to be sold for food when, on the brink of death, Lin Wan binds herself to an [infinite-capacity convenience store space]. Rice, flour, cooking oil, meat, eggs, fruit, vegetables, medicines, medical equipment... It has everything, stays fresh at a constant temperature, and can be accessed without limit!

She casts off her timid ways and becomes a fierce protector of her family:

She cooks rice porridge and boils eggs, first making sure her siblings grow plump and healthy;

She takes on her awful relatives and beats up local thugs. Anyone who dares bully her family will regret it;

She builds a tiled house, opens up wasteland, and starts workshops, determined to turn her starving, broken household into a prosperous haven in the midst of famine!

Along the way, she saves a down-on-his-luck, gravely wounded, cold-faced general. But once he recovers, he refuses to leave. “I can never repay you for saving my life. All I can do is... protect your whole family and keep you safe for the rest of your lives.”

Lin Wan raises an eyebrow. “You want to repay me? Fine. Fetch water, chop wood, and work the fields. Earn your keep first.”

The general hoists a hoe with a grin. “As you command, my little boss.”
