Siheyuan: You Want the Beasts to Journey to the West? Has Buddha Gone Mad?

[Siheyuan + Journey to the West + Group Transmigration + Wild Imagination] “The Tang Monk is dying!” On Spirit Mountain, Buddha was frantic. Wukong had quit, Bajie and Sha Wujing were both useless, and the pilgrimage had completely fallen apart! In desperation, he made a quick calculation, his gaze piercing through time and space: “Huh? In Beijing in 1966, there’s a siheyuan filled with resentment and tangled karma, three times more terrifying than the Eighteen Levels of Hell?” Buddha’s mouth twitched. “These mortals are masters of scheming and ruthless manipulation. If I went in there myself, I’d be lucky to get out without taking a couple of slaps.” “In that case, let’s fight poison with poison! Send these beasts to wreak havoc on the monsters!” And so, the [Buddha’s Palm Paradise] descended! The entire siheyuan, foundation and all, was uprooted and tossed into the world of Journey to the West! Yi Zhonghai, Liu Haizhong, Yan Bugui, Silly Zhu, Xu Damao, Qin Huairu... From then on, these beasts had one mission: protect the Tang Monk on his pilgrimage west to obtain the scriptures! Succeed, and they could return to 1966, with their wish granted and immortality bestowed. Fail? Everyone would be erased! The [Myriad Heavens Merit Rental System] activated! From then on, the monsters along the pilgrimage route discovered: Why were the pilgrims in this batch even more unreasonable than they were?!
