Late Ming: Muscular Chongzhen Beats Up Huang Taiji

【Late Ming + Comedy + Power Fantasy + Transmigrate + Light System + Fantasy】 I’ll shoulder this Ming dynasty with my pecs! In the fifteenth year of the Chongzhen reign, Liaodong is in crisis and the court is in despair. Zhu Youjian wakes up to find that the world has changed. The dragon throne is uncomfortable, his imperial robes are tight, and when he looks down, instead of a skinny collarbone, he sees two massive pectorals capable of crushing boulders. The officials are arguing themselves hoarse over “fight or make peace.” He says nothing as he strides down from the throne. Beneath his crimson robes and jade belt, his lats spread like mountains. “Gentlemen,” he begins, his voice booming so loudly that dust rains from the rafters. “I’ve given it some thought…” He tears open his imperial robe, revealing bronzed muscles swelling and rippling in the morning light. “I shall lead the army myself and challenge Hong Taiji to a one-on-one fight.” The civil officials faint. The generals stare in disbelief. The Grand Secretary trembles as he warns, “This goes against our ancestral rules.” Zhu Youjian merely rolls his neck, his shoulder blades rumbling like battering rams. That day, the Ming dynasty went mad. Later, the whole world went mad too. Beyond the passes, the Eight Banners cavalry watched in disbelief as their Emperor Tiancong was thrown to the ground and beaten by a bare-chested muscleman. In the Central Plains, the million-strong rebel army of Li Zicheng, the Chuang King, gathered at the front lines to watch a classical wrestling match between “the emperor and the warlord.” In Jiangnan, members of the Donglin Party denounced the disgrace to scholarly decorum, then shut their doors to admire portraits of Chongzhen’s muscles. And later… Zhu Youjian stands atop Shanhai Pass, gazing at the distant sky, where an eerie purple light is rising. He clenches his buzzing fists. “Looks like… some tougher opponents have arrived?”
