Great Ming: Forced to Ascend the Throne

I transmigrated through time and space into the Ming Dynasty and became the second son of Zhu Gaochi, named Zhu Zhanyong. Though I bore the noble title of prince, I seemed to have been born with a knack for courting death, charging headlong down a road of no return.

The old man, Zhu Di, called me in for a talk. With a stern expression, he asked, “Boy, have you never thought about sitting on the throne?” I didn’t even raise my eyelids. “Not interested. My biggest dream in life is to wake up naturally every day, count money until my fingers tremble, have pretty concubines around me, and build a few grand mansions decked out in gold and splendor. That’s more than enough!” Zhu Di was left speechless, his face full of helplessness.

That’s me: a carefree prince who loves courting death, yet always manages to turn danger into safety and come through unscathed. In the Ming Dynasty, I have my own philosophy for survival. Watch as I joke, rant, and stir up the world, all while living life to the fullest.
