Gotham: They Forced Me to Be a Villain, So I Became Its Savior

Let's get this straight: I'm a good person, but the System keeps forcing me to be “Joker.”

Which leads to a rather awkward situation: my golden finger has become my biggest problem.

Scenario One: I want to save the prison guard who's about to fall off a cliff.

What I do: I knock him unconscious with a headbutt, then kick him as hard as I can.

The result: The guard lands on the grass and survives. The police announce that I “viciously attempted to murder him.”

Everyone else's reaction: The whole city is terrified. “This lunatic doesn't even spare unconscious people!”

Scenario Two: I want to stop the gang from blowing up a bridge.

What I do: I hijack a TV station and laugh maniacally as I announce, “Tonight, the bridge will go up in fireworks.”

The result: The citizens are too scared to go near the bridge. When the nuke explodes, no one is hurt.

Everyone else's reaction: Owlman: “He used chaos to cover up the truth. He's playing an incredibly deep game!”

Scenario Three: I want to improve the food at the orphanage.

What I do: I smash every barrel of disgusting slop and force the cooks to eat it themselves.

The result: The children worship me, while the media says I'm abusing the staff.

Everyone else's reaction: Commissioner Gordon: “Demon! He's ruling the orphanage with terror!”

I'm tired. Let's just destroy the world. Whoever wants to be this savior can take the job!
