Report! My Ghost Is Helping Me Solve Cases

She can see ghosts. The ghost is her dead mentor. Three years into the job, Lin Qian solves cases with one secret weapon: the ghost of her partner, Shen Ji. Sharp-tongued and picky, he has been dead for three years and is still fretting over her investigative skills. The cases on West Street are getting more and more ridiculous: a stray cat that writes poetry, dentures that tap-dance at midnight, and candied hawthorns that propose using Morse code… With help from the retired seniors of the “Ghost Support Club” and the cat-and-dog task force, Lin Qian turns one bizarre case after another into a spectacular public embarrassment. But the truth behind Shen Ji’s death remains like a thorn between them. When sealed files are opened and the Main Eye awakens underground, Lin Qian finally realizes that her “intuition,” her “luck,” and her ability to see ghosts were never coincidences. Shen Ji finds it harder and harder to hide what he’s thinking when he looks at her. The one on the left doesn’t dare say it, but the one on the right, another Shen Ji born from the Main Eye, will say anything. “Which one will you choose?” he asks with a smile. Lin Qian stares at the two identical men before her, her head throbbing. “Can’t I choose both?” Beneath the ginkgo trees on West Street, a group of people wait, along with a ghost cat waiting for strawberries, a girl who has waited twenty-six years, and a ghost who has waited three thousand years. They are all waiting for the same answer. She thought she was solving cases. The truth is, she has been on her way home all along. 【Bubbly, talkative police detective × sharp-tongued guardian ghost】 【Lighthearted daily life × overarching mystery】 “Both leads are devoted only to each other, one-on-one romance. The angst is sweet, and the sugar is made of glass shards.”
