A Three-Year-Old Carries the Nation's Fortune, and the Ancestors Witness China's Spirit

Su Lingling, a chef trained to cook at state banquets, dies from overwork and is reborn as a three-and-a-half-year-old toddler. Her family’s time-honored restaurant is on the verge of closing.

At this critical moment, she awakens her golden finger: the [Ancestral Hall of Chinese Civilization]!

Want to cook? The Culinary God Yi Ya chases her around with Buddha Jumps Over the Wall, trying to feed her. “Sweetheart, just one more bite, and this dish will be yours!”

Want to practice calligraphy? The Sage of Calligraphy, Wang Xizhi, tempts her with the original manuscript of the Preface to the Orchid Pavilion. “Lingling, write Grandpa a character, and I’ll give you this brush!”

Want to save lives? The Medical Sage Zhang Zhongjing and the King of Medicine Sun Simiao start fighting over who gets to feed her their prescription first!

And so, a strange phenomenon appears in the capital: a restaurant on the verge of bankruptcy suddenly starts raking in money every day, and long-lost state banquet dishes set the internet ablaze! A three-and-a-half-year-old toddler becomes the “little ancestor” whom masters of calligraphy, Chinese painting, traditional medicine, embroidery, and every other field are desperate to bow down to and call their teacher!

When reporters crowd around her, Su Lingling burps and says in dismay, “I really am just a three-and-a-half-year-old baby. The ancestors are the ones who keep chasing me to feed me!”

When Chinese culture sweeps the world thanks to her and the nation prospers, she finally understands: the ancestors aren’t feeding her food, but the hope of an entire civilization!
