Great Ming: Exiled from the Start, I Have You Players Loot Everything

[Late Ming + Fourth Calamity + infrastructure building + empress + struggle for maritime supremacy + slight ensemble cast]

In the final years of the Chongzhen era, the Ming Dynasty is on the brink of collapse. Princess Zhu Langhua refuses to marry into the Manchu Qing and volunteers for exile at an abandoned military outpost in the southeast. It should be a death sentence, but she binds herself to the “Ming Dynasty Online” server.

Faced with Japanese pirates massacring villages and red-haired foreigners attacking the passes, Zhu Langhua waves a hand and summons a band of lunatics who call themselves “players.”

These heavenly soldiers take no imperial salaries and demand no military pay. They howl “Loot drop!” when they see enemies, and call the princess “Wifey!” when they see her.

Shen Lian, a Commander of the Embroidered Uniform Guard, watches the lunatics charge enemy ships with explosives just to touch the princess's sleeve and falls into deep self-doubt. Why is this Ming Dynasty so different from the one he imagined?

When the Manchu cavalry rides south, they find that the southeastern coast has become a steel behemoth. The lofty empress is surrounded by countless heavenly soldiers, her sword pointed at the whole world!

“Lord Shen, don't be jealous. They're only lusting after my body... I mean, the quest rewards in their hands.”
