[Sweet romance in Beijing’s elite circles + a hellish road to win back his wife + two strong leads sparring + a contrast in status]

Bai Luo is the editor-in-chief of a well-known magazine, cool and proud. She never expected to catch the attention of Leng Tingyue, the most untouchable and privileged young master in Beijing’s elite circles.

The once-arrogant young master sets aside all his pride and dignity and begins openly and obsessively declaring his love.

Yang Jinghuai, a powerful and influential man, showers Bai Luo with care and affection. Leng Tingyue gets jealous and angry, deliberately provoking Bai Luo, then goes through a hellish ordeal to win her back.

The challenges come from superstar Xia Tong, Leng Tingyue’s arranged-marriage partner Chu Ruoyao, and Yang Jinghuai’s fiancée Zheng Zhiyi, who disfigures Bai Luo.

Through it all, Leng Tingyue stays by her side.

In the end, Yang Jinghuai comes to terms with his feelings and lets her go, though he continues to protect her with care.
