There’s Something Off About This Empress

Lin Mo is forcibly reincarnated into a cultivation world by an unreliable System. But the first second he opens his eyes, he wants to curse. Metal claws, a sleek exoskeleton, a long tail... He's turned into an “Alien Queen”!

“System! Weren't you supposed to let me keep my male body?!”

“Gender doesn't matter, dear. Just think about it: you're a queen who can ‘give birth’ to an entire army!”

Before he can recover from the shock of going from male to female, a Qi Refining-stage Blazing Demon Wolf picks him out as a potential dinner. Faced with the wolf's jaws, Lin Mo lashes out with his tail and suddenly realizes... Wait, is this body ridiculously strong?

Even more absurdly, she really can give birth. Facehuggers burst out of their hosts, and the new Aliens inherit all of their Host's abilities, then double them, while returning a percentage of their power to the mother. She can also perfectly disguise herself as anyone she's infected.

And so, an unusual presence quietly slips into the cultivation world:

Outer-sect disciple Sun Xiaorou is still timid and meek, though her gaze is occasionally far too calm;

Elder Wang Ming is still obsessed with alchemy research, though his success rate has recently skyrocketed;

Prodigy Zhao Mingxuan thinks something is wrong with everyone, especially Elder Wang, who is always “in seclusion.”

“Don't mess with me,” Lin Mo thinks silently as she lies in a corner of the beast garden, disguised as a docile spirit beast. “I may be keeping a low profile for now, but my offspring... can have a whole litter.”

When the righteous and demonic sects join forces to hunt down the “Parasitic Demon,” Lin Mo looks at the Alien army that has quietly spread through every sect and school behind her, and at the Gate to the Divine Realm gradually opening in the sky, and falls into thought:

“System, tell me, right now I...”
