“I’m the Heavenly Dao’s human-world alt account. My main account up in the heavens has my back. Touch me, and it’ll destroy the world.”

The Heavenly Dao guy who lives on Penglai Island is an ordinary mortal with barely any magic power, or so he thinks.

But the Huangzhong Plum grows in his courtyard, the Ancestral Dragon lives in his pond, the axe he uses to chop wood is the Pangu Banner, and even his watchdog is the Ancestral Qilin.

Whether it’s the first calamity of the Dragon and Han era or the great war of the Investiture of the Gods, Penglai Island is always a peaceful haven.

Sect Master Tongtian drops by for a meal, the Lady Nuwa comes to play mahjong, and the Dao Ancestor Hongjun comes to hide from danger.

One day, the two Western sages try to force their way onto Penglai Island.

The Heavenly Dao guy says, “Ugh, what a bother.”

The next second, divine purple lightning sweeps the ground as the will of the Heavenly Dao descends: “If anyone makes him unhappy, I’ll restart this world.”

The Heavenly Dao guy shrugs. “Relax, my heartless main account is just being overprotective.”

This is a slice-of-life story about immortals dropping in on one another, growing crops and flowers, and watching all the famous scenes of the Primordial World’s great calamities.
