A Review of Five Thousand Years of Chinese History

Office drone Zhou Xiaoshuai was trying to complete his boss's “viral traffic” assignment, so he casually edited a video about figures from Chinese history. Who could have guessed the video would mysteriously vanish, replaced by a vast sky screen stretching across time and history, covering the skies above China! The sky screen descended, stunning the ages! It connected countless points in time, from the Pre-Qin era to the end of the Ming, and presented the great figures and astonishing events of five thousand years of Chinese history in the form of a countdown: from peerless generals to celebrated thinkers, from master strategists and ministers to forgotten heroines... Emperors, ministers, scholars, and commoners from a thousand years ago watched with their own eyes as their history, and even later generations' judgments of their rise and fall, unfolded before them. They were all stunned, moved, and prompted to reflect, with reactions that were sometimes hilarious and sometimes heartwarming. Beneath the sky screen was a mysterious comment section from the “future.” Modern internet jokers flooded it with comments, using contemporary memes and their god's-eye view to watch the upheavals of the past. They would occasionally “spoil” what was to come or “make fun” of events, creating hilarious clashes across time. A modern office drone's unintentional act sparked a historical drama spanning the ages. Beneath the sky screen, the past and present are shaken. See how it brings to life an epic tale of five thousand years of Chinese history!
