Reborn as A Gui, the Qing Dynasty’s Greatest General

I’m a handsome guy from 2026, and for no reason at all, I transmigrated to the fifty-sixth year of the Kangxi era (1717).

I became A Gui, the only son of Akdun of the Zhangjia clan, a scholar of the Grand Secretariat and a member of the Manchu Plain Blue Banner.

How will I make my way through the reigns of Kangxi, Yongzheng, Qianlong, and Jiaqing?

Especially during the Qianlong era, how will I put down the Xinjiang rebellion, fight the troublemakers in Burma who cut off people’s waists, and finally suppress the rebellions in both Jinchuan regions?

Somehow, I ended up becoming the Qing dynasty’s greatest general. I was granted the titles of Grand Guardian of the Crown Prince and Grand Secretary of the Hall of Martial Valor, enshrined in the Temple of Worthies, and had my portrait painted four times for the Hall of Purple Radiance. In the end, I was even honored in the Imperial Ancestral Temple.

There are also little stories about Qianlong’s illegitimate son Fuk’anggan, Qianlong’s darling Heshen, and Hailancha.

Anyway, I lived a long life. After eighty-one years, I saw through the rotten Qing dynasty.

Can I make it back to 2026?

This book is also known as The Dramatic Tale of Zhangjia A Gui. It contains no official history, just absurd unofficial tales.
