Women’s Prison: Don’t Mess with Big Sis No. 7

Shen Zhiyi once commanded the financial world, but her beloved boyfriend, Gu Yanshen, joined forces with his lover, Su Manrou, to frame her. Overnight, she fell from the clouds into the mud, was sentenced to ten years in prison, and locked in Cell Seven of a women's prison.

On entering prison, she shed her fine clothes and became inmate No. 7304, someone anyone could bully. Her bunk was in a corner beside the toilet. There were unexplained shoves and beatings, and the inmates led by Sister Lan repeatedly provoked her, grinding her dignity to pieces. Reality relentlessly beat down her former pride, until an almost fatal ordeal made her tear away the mask of patience for good. Those who had tormented her ultimately paid dearly for it, and from then on, no one in Cell Seven dared look down on “7304.”

Behind bars, she filed away her rough edges and forged an even colder, sharper resolve. Her ten-year sentence was a countdown, and a time to build strength for revenge. On the day she was released, the sunlight was blinding. She stepped out from behind the high walls, the traces of her prison uniform still with her, and saw the dazzling world inhabited by Gu Yanshen and Su Manrou.

This long-delayed reckoning was never about simple revenge. She would use everything they valued most as leverage, make the betrayers experience for themselves the despair of falling from the top, and see that every debt and every wound was repaid, one by one, in a blaze of retribution.
