The Memory Checkpoint Journey

Synopsis

In 2077, in resource-depleted Haicheng, memories have become the most expensive currency in circulation. To save his younger sister, Lin Mo pawns the only starlight in his life: the memory of watching the stars with her. In return, he gets a sky-high-priced wonder drug. Six months later, he has saved enough to buy the memory back, but at the end of that warm recollection, he sees the truth: philanthropist Zhang Qiming personally pushed his daughter to her death! The grafted memory becomes a death warrant, and one attack follows another. When memories can be bought, sold, and altered, how can he use a modified memory to unmask a hypocrite? And behind this memory trade lies an even more shocking conspiracy...
