Three Mistaken Trips to the Grave, One Funeral Home to Settle Down

Three Bungled Trips to the Graveyard, One Parlor for the Rest of Their Lives

Feifei, a traveling massage therapist, meets Yubao, an unhappily married coal mine team leader, while setting up a stall in a mining district. Yubao's wife is a gambling addict who neglects the family, so he can only pour out his troubles to Feifei on WeChat. The two lonely hearts gradually grow closer.

Yubao drives to see Feifei three times, but the address is vague, and each time he accidentally ends up in a graveyard in the hills, leading to one farcical mishap after another. On the third trip, Feifei finds him by the roadside, disheveled but determined. The two go from online confidants to close friends in person, and feelings quietly blossom.

Yubao's wife fiercely opposes their relationship. He resolutely leaves with nothing and spends all his savings helping Feifei open an herbal fumigation therapy parlor. Afterward, they join hands to survive a life-or-death test when a mine tunnel collapses, and their bond grows ever stronger.

A coal-essence stone ring engraved with "Evening Breeze" and a little shop filled with the scent of herbs bear witness to their modest but steady happiness. For the rest of their lives, they will stay by each other's side.
