Young Marshal, Please Mind Yourself: This Wall Isn't Load-Bearing

Returning from overseas, architect Shen Yanqing risks everything to save her family’s business, working her way into warlord Xiao Jiming’s inner circle through a “dangerous building renovation” project. She possesses a “structural mechanics vision” System that lets her see complex military and political maneuvering as simple building-load models. On her first day at the marshal’s residence, her “Plan to Address Foundation Settlement and Optimize Anti-Assassination Routes at the Marshal’s Residence” shocks everyone. She rises from the woodshed to become the chief construction supervisor.

In the days that follow, she talks of nothing but load-bearing, never romance. She balances factional interests by building bridges and roads, plants political traps in her air-raid shelter designs, and drives every steel bar into her enemies’ weak spots. Xiao Jiming initially sees her as a pawn who knows how to build, but after one life-and-death repair job after another, he realizes that his own ruthless heart is being layered with warm, unyielding concrete by her. At last, on a battlefield swept by war, Xiao Jiming lays down his pride and his guns, willingly becoming the strongest “load-bearing wall” in her designs.
