My Acting Is Too Good, and Now the Police Are at My Door

Lin He, a bit-part actor, got a “Crime Acting System” that demanded he make his villains feel real.

He played a thief, and his professional technique convinced the police he was the real deal. He played a fraudster, and his brainwashing lines nearly made viewers send him money. He played a hitman, and his glare scared the crew into moving out overnight.

Directors scrambled to hire him: “That's an incredible villain performance!”

Then the international police came knocking: “Sir, please come with us and explain why the criminal methods you portray are exactly the same as those in the files of the world's ten biggest unsolved cases.”

Looking at the System's newly refreshed mission, “Play the head of an international crime syndicate,” Lin He fell into deep thought.
