Seer: Please, Don't Mess with Me

A fanfic set in the world of Seer. Bound to the Must-Win System, Erjia fought monsters and leveled up until he was over five hundred years old, yet he still thought of himself as weak and frail. He often wept in the wind, mourned beneath the moon, and burst into tears whenever he saw the sky-high housing prices on Earth... And “must-win” in this System means exactly what it sounds like: if you aren't the winner, you die. Erjia lived in constant fear, praying to every god he could think of. He was terrified some powerful spirit would come along and wreck him. Other people could run if they couldn't win, but he couldn't run away. Other spirits: “Are you even human? Why do you keep yelling? You're a spirit barely over five hundred, with your fur only just grown in, yet you keep beating the stuffing out of us old-timers. And while you're at it, you shout, ‘I've worked so hard, so why won't you surrender?!’” “Forget whether we want to surrender. Did you even give us a chance?!” “One punch knocked every tooth out of our mouths. You didn't even give us a chance to say a word!” “Can you stop being so unreasonable?!!!” “And as a spirit, why are you so obsessed with buying a house, like those weird people on Earth? If housing prices there are too high, just move to another planet!”
