Grandpa in the 1960s Takes Seven Calabash Brothers into the Military District

[Period] [Feel-good power fantasy] [golden finger] [adorable kids] [fleeing famine]

In 1962, famine ravages the land. Shen Shan, a battle-hardened veteran, is driven to desperation by his second son's wife, who steals the last half of a sweet potato from his grandchildren. Then news arrives that his eldest son has been “killed in action,” and his vicious relatives set fire to their home, determined to wipe them out!

Just when all hope seems lost, Shen Shan is stunned to discover that his seven grandchildren have all undergone a remarkable transformation. Each one is more driven than the last!

The eldest was born with superhuman strength, treating a stone mill weighing a thousand jin like a toy!

The second is a master craftsperson, turning scrap metal into divine weapons!

The third can communicate with all things, commanding birds and beasts alike!

The fourth is unbeatable with a slingshot, hitting targets from a hundred paces like a divine archer!

The seventh can even foresee life and death, and sense danger before it strikes!

Shen Shan: “Kids, are we fleeing famine?”

His seven extraordinary grandchildren: “No, Grandpa. We’re going to rescue Dad!”
