Siheyuan: I’m the Security Chief, and I Keep the Beasts in Line

[Courtyard House + Head of Security + Decisive and Ruthless + Everyone Goes to Prison + System Power Fantasy] One kick cripples Jia Dongxu. One Black Star pistol brings the whole courtyard to heel! Transmigrating to 1951, Su Chen returns with military honors and takes a job as head of security at the Hongxing Steel Mill! From the start, he runs into Qin Huairu at the train station, where she’s being pressured into marriage. Su Chen cuts in at once. “Don’t go into that wolf’s den. Come with me, and you’ll have meat to eat!” Back at the courtyard, the vermin think they can teach him a lesson? Yi Zhonghai tries to guilt-trip him? Su Chen slaps down a copy of the Criminal Law. “You embezzled He Daqing’s five million yuan in child support. That’s a huge sum! We’ll hold a public trial at the factory. You’ll rot in prison!” Jia Zhangshi makes a scene and pretends to summon the dead? Su Chen racks his gun. “Make one more peep and I’ll shoot you on the spot as an enemy saboteur!” Silly Zhu wants to be a hired fist? One slap snaps him out of it. “Your sister’s chewing on plain steamed buns while you feed a white-eyed wolf? Work with me, and I’ll make sure you find a wife!” Liu Haizhong and Yan Bugui tremble with fear, rushing to pledge their loyalty overnight! As Yi Zhonghai faces execution and the Jia family is raided, even the “old matriarch” in the back courtyard, who’s been pretending to be deaf and dumb, can’t sit still. She tries to use her powerful connections to crush Su Chen. Su Chen glances at the top-secret file the System has just produced and gives a cold laugh. “You want to compare connections? Sorry, but you look like a traitor who’s been lying low for years! Men, seal off the back courtyard and dig up every inch!”
