The Heart of Inkblight

In an ink world where everything is written into being, Hen is an ink mage whose body is made of flowing poetry. All his life, he has longed to forget the traumatic memory of his lover Li being erased by a textual storm. When the concept-erasing virus known as the “Null Ink Plague” quietly spreads, beginning to devour core concepts such as “love” and “memory,” Hen discovers that the words in which he engraved his pain are being corrupted. To save the last traces, he is forced to face the past, only to uncover a horrifying truth: the virus is a self-destruct program activated by the world to eliminate emotional paradoxes. Hen must choose: let the world settle into a hollow, eternal stability, or use himself as ink to rewrite the original narrative, giving pain and memory new life in the midst of despair.
