An Introduction to New Society

A fundamental dilemma is becoming increasingly clear in today's world: Why does society grow more divided as the economy grows? Why does the feast of wealth keep moving farther away from those who work hard to earn it?

New Treatise on Society raises this pressing question and proposes a revolutionary vision for a new system. At its core, this book seeks to rebuild society's "fairness operating system."

We reject wishful thinking and go straight to the heart of the institutions. This book pioneers a model of governance in which "Legalism governs from within, while the Hundred Schools flourish beyond the court." Within the government, a modern fiscal and financial System built around direct taxation acts like a precision scalpel, cutting away the shackles of rent-seeking and channeling capital and resources toward those who truly strive, creating a "rule-of-law engine" that rewards innovation. Outside the government, diverse social vitality rooted in Confucianism flourishes, forming a powerful network of public oversight to ensure that power is exercised in the open.

The key mechanism that keeps this system running is a "dynamic merit-based elimination system." The governing class will no longer enjoy an unchanging iron rice bowl. Instead, they must earn their positions through sustained contributions, public approval, and institutional performance, ensuring the ruling elite is continually renewed and refined.

This is more than an economic plan. It is a profound social revolution, intended to end the hidden expropriation of the "second tax bureau," restore fiscal sovereignty to the principle of "serving the people," and ultimately achieve a great leap from the "historical cycle of rise and decline" to a "law of institutional innovation." For thinkers concerned with social fairness and the way forward, this book offers a comprehensive blueprint combining philosophical depth with the courage to put ideas into practice.
