The Celestial's Laid-Back Assistant

Lin Fan, a laid-back tech geek reborn with max-level gaming skills, only wants to quietly tinker with inventions and make figurines in his courtyard, enjoying a lie-flat life. Then one phone call shatters the peace: the “make-work position” he'd forgotten about for two years suddenly takes effect, and his employer turns out to be the nation's celestial beauty, Liu Yifei.

From then on, the lazy assistant and the aloof goddess begin a hilarious daily life together. He thinks he can slack off on the clock, but at every crucial moment he “accidentally” reveals an incredible talent: a dress is damaged? One quick alteration leaves everyone stunned. The film crew's boxed lunches taste awful? He cooks on the spot and wins over the whole crew. The paparazzi are taking pictures? He teaches them a lesson with his hacking skills.

When Liu Yifei discovers that her assistant can not only fix zippers and make coffee, but also build intelligent devices decades ahead of their time, design elegant traditional outfits, and even has an underground workshop filled with models for the “Heavenly Gate Project,” she begins to question reality.

Lin Fan just wants to wail: I only want to be a lazy fish! Can you stop forcing me to use cheat powers all the time?

A heartwarming, hilarious daily life between a hidden powerhouse and the nation's celestial beauty begins.
