Ding! Your Nation-Strengthening System Has Bound to a Three-Year-Old

[System + period setting + adorable child + rise of a great power + family darling + feel-good infrastructure building]

A temporal disturbance in the 2050 "Great Power Support System" sends it spiraling back in time, where it accidentally binds itself to Lin Zhaodi, a three-year-old girl living in 1960.

The System crashes: [Host intelligence check... three years old? It's over, this high-level game is doomed! I'm supposed to assist a scientist, not a snot-nosed brat!]

But when the System issues a quest to save itself...

System: [Beginner quest: solve the problem of food and clothing. Reward: super hybrid rice seeds.]

Zhaodi blinks her big eyes at the golden seeds in her hand. "Uncle, if we plant these, will everyone in the village have enough to eat?"

To get a full meal for her lame veteran father, and to keep her gaunt older brother from starving to death, Zhaodi becomes the hardest-working little "employee" around.

Not long afterward, the National Academy of Sciences is in an uproar!

In the northwestern desert, a huge mushroom cloud soars into the sky. The chief engineer gazes at the oil-stained blueprint in his hand, tears in his eyes. "Th-this is the 'big firecracker' drawn by that three-year-old girl?"

In the southern rice paddies, rice yielding three thousand jin per mu bends low under its weight. The agricultural authority's hands tremble. "Th-this is the 'grow taller' thing that little girl mentioned?"

From solving food shortages to surveying industry, from the atomic and hydrogen bombs and satellites to the launch of an aircraft carrier...

The Eagle is terrified: Does the Rabbit's country have aliens?

The Rabbit replies calmly: No, we just have a national treasure of a daughter who loves to draw.

The commander personally issues the order: All troops, mobilize! Highest alert! Anyone who dares touch a hair on our "little bringer of fortune" will be hunted down, no matter how far away!

(Watching Zhaodi ride on a missile truck while eating candied hawthorns, the bigwigs of the entire military district all become doting dads!)
