The System Wants Me to Build Nuclear Fusion? I'll Hand It Over to the Nation!

[The System orders me to build a nuclear fusion reactor by hand in thirty days or face elimination? I turn around and call the police, then hand everything over to the state, launching an exhilarating journey to technological greatness with an entire theater of operations providing security and the nation’s top academicians working for me!]

“Mission issued: Ignite a miniature nuclear fusion reactor within thirty days. Failure means elimination!”

Su Yu had been kicked out of the lab by his unscrupulous advisor, who had also stolen his recommendation for postgraduate study. Looking at the blueprints in his mind, enough to change the course of human history, he silently called the police.

“Hello, I’d like to turn myself in. I have complete blueprints for a nuclear reactor in my head, but I can’t get my hands on any uranium-235.”

The next day, Su Yu was discreetly escorted away by special forces armed to the teeth. The state assigned an entire theater of operations to protect him. Whatever money or manpower he needed, he got, and top academicians became his assistants!

Three months later, his unscrupulous advisor was spouting off at an international academic conference, presenting a plagiarized, half-finished project. The doors burst open, and armed national security officers pinned him to the floor.

“You are suspected of stealing the nation’s top secret. Take him away!”

Su Yu stood under the spotlight, the nation’s highest science and technology medal hanging on his chest. He looked at his trembling enemy and the relatives who had once looked down on him, then smiled faintly.

“You thought I’d lost everything? No. I’m a national treasure now.”
