I Work as a Courier in the Wasteland

A hundred years after the spiritual tide returned, the world has become a wasteland. Humanity huddles behind its walls, while martial artists draw power from their Spirit Cores and rise above everyone else. And I, Lin Yan, am an outlier among messengers. One mission shattered my Spirit Core and turned me into a laughingstock in Rustiron Town. But I have a secret: by touching an object, I can read the emotional memories embedded in it. It is my strongest trump card, and also the cruelest curse. When Su Jie, from the Yanhuang Bastion, found me with her brother's bloodstained badge, I touched it and felt a desperate cry and the chill of betrayal. The Guixu Cult's shadow is spreading across the wasteland. Golden Messengers are falling one after another, and the ancient Project Heavenward is about to begin. They see me as a pawn, a key to unleashing destruction. But they don't know that this discarded pawn, with eyes that have witnessed every joy and sorrow in the world, will deliver one final letter to this desperate world.
