When Lin Xiaotie discovers he has transmigrated into the blacksmith NPC of Fantasy Era, his first thought is: Now I can slack off legally! But who knew this lousy System would even impose KPI assessments on NPCs? If his approval rating fell short, he would be formatted.
To save his own hide, he starts pushing the rules to their limits: slipping handmade divine weapons to players who turn in quests, quietly changing "Collect 10 wolf pelts" to "Bring me a bowl of beef noodles," and even perfecting the signature trick of "pretending to be stuck in a bug" to evade System detection. Just as his shady tricks get him to the top of the NPC popularity rankings, the System suddenly flashes a warning: [Warning: Boss-level anomalous data detected]
It turns out he isn't an ordinary NPC at all. He's the final Boss of the next expansion! Now players across the server are buzzing on the forums: "What do we do? The blacksmith who gave out hidden quests suddenly turned evil!" "Please come back! I can't live without the double XP buffs he gave out!"
To make matters worse, a mysterious virus is eating away at the game world, and the System plans to pin the blame on him. Faced with a horde of players charging to take him down, Lin Xiaotie raises his hammer and shouts, "Wait! I've got spoilers for the new version. The System has been messing with all of us!"
And so the most absurd scene in gaming history unfolds: the Boss who was supposed to be defeated by players is now leading a hundred thousand of them in a sit-in protest outside the main city gates. Even the System's notification sounds like it's about to cry: [Please, just follow the normal process for once...]
The idea of the introduction is good, but the plot is not overdone or exaggerated. Having ideas leads directly to the results the author wants. So much so that I like to watch Di Hua's displeasure, and the logic of it is endlessly fragmented. The closer the date, the higher the repetition rate, like AI expansion. If the author is willing to practice his writing and the player's mental journey is longer, don't take it for granted. If there is a little logic, it may be a good imagination work.
It was originally a good idea, but the whole process was burdened with the protagonist. There were more and more meaningless words, and there were more and more meaningless plots, as if they were directly sent out after AI processing.
