Reborn, I Got My Happy Ending with Brother Yun

Baili Dongjun is reborn, and the first thing he does is get Ye Dingzhi drunk.

He thinks he’ll have to talk at length to convince Brother Yun to believe this unbelievable turn of events. But the man, bleary-eyed with drink, tugs at his sleeve. “Dongjun... do you know what I look forward to most on my birthday every year?”

“Is it the grape wine you bring back from the Western Regions whenever the snow falls?”

Ye Dingzhi shakes his head and pulls him into his arms. “I look forward to you always finding an excuse to come see me.”

On the day of the wedding snatch, Baili Dongjun raises his sword, its frost chilling the fourteen provinces. “Take Yi Wenjun away. Brother Yun stays.”

Years later, Ye Anshi toddles up to Ye Dingzhi. “Dad, Father’s drinking the Drunken Immortal Brew you hid again!”

Ye Dingzhi chuckles. “It’s fine. I’ll go fetch him once he’s drunk.”

This time, they’ll rewrite every regret.
