The Record of Hell’s Gambit

As turmoil erupts across Hell and the powers of the Seven Deadly Sins fall out of balance, Elias, once a Seraphim of Heaven, opens a hidden gambling den after falling into the abyss. He claims that demons' fates will be decided by a game of chess, but in truth, he is setting a deadly trap to stir up the underworld, drawing infamous and ruthless figures into the game. None of the guests are ordinary. There's Samael, the demon of Wrath, who once slaughtered every old Lord of Hell in a single day and broadcasts his killings through poisonous flames. A snake-like glint lurks beneath his smiling lips, and his madness conceals meticulous calculation. There's Mammon, the demon of Greed, who controls half of Hell's wealth and uses gold and silver as his pieces. A flick of his fingers can make demons slaughter one another; he never lifts a hand, yet keeps the whole game under control. And there's Belial, the demon of Sloth, shaped like a silver-winged television screen. Silent and still, he sees through every scheme and reaps the rewards through others. Every player is brilliant and without weakness. Alliances are deadly traps, every test hides a killing move, and each piece placed stakes the power of their souls. Candlelight in the den throws the demons' shadows across the board. Before the game is halfway through, blood already fills the air. No one knows Elias's ultimate design. They only know that in this contest, with sin as the pieces and the underworld as the board, the winner will rule Hell's order, while the loser will be obliterated. This mad game has only just begun.
