Ghost Marriage: The Paper Bride

On my wedding night, I discovered that the groom I had married was a cold, lifeless corpse.

The wedding candles flickered as I trembled and tried to escape, only to find that every door and window had been sealed shut.

Beneath the red veil, that paper-white face suddenly opened its eyes, its lips curling into a sinister smile.

“Wife, since you’re here, stay and keep me company.”

Outside, the suona sounded again, this time playing a funeral tune.
