Zhao Dynasty, Morning and Evening Longing

In a glittering opera rehearsal hall, Han Muli has once again ruined her mother's carefully laid plans. The daughter of an opera diva, she is tone-deaf and secured even a minor role only through her mother's influence. The entire internet mocks her as the ultimate nepo baby, but she couldn't care less, scrolling through conquest guides for her game.

Then, one night, she meets Zhao Muye on the rooftop. He has fled rehearsal too, and is hailed as a once-in-a-century opera prodigy. A cigarette rests between his fingers, and his gaze is gloomy. "What your mother said when she scolded you just now was exactly what my parents used to say to me."

Two souls, both held captive by their talents, meet beneath the moonlight. She sees the cracks behind his flawless performances, and he sees the wounds beneath her carefree mask.

"Want to team up?" He crushes out his cigarette. "Let's destroy this world that treats us like puppets."

From then on, the opera world begins to crumble. When Han Muli turns to film and television and reveals astonishing acting talent, everyone finally realizes that what she inherited was not her mother's singing voice, but the extraordinary gift of her unseen father, a legendary movie star.
