Pupils of the Eternal Night

I once believed that the sun-and-moon eyes that saw through illusion were a miracle bestowed by the heavens.

Only later did I learn they were a curse I had sent myself across the ages.

They made me meet you, Tushan Rongrong, only to doom me to leave you.

They gave me ten brothers I could trust with my life, only to force me to bury them with my own hands.

When my memories awoke and the divine returned, I finally understood that my purpose in existing was to bring about this final... destruction.

Rongrong, don't wait for me. In this endless night, I only hope my starry eyes can become the last glimmer in the ashes of your longing.
