The Awakening of the Foxfire Thunder Hammer in the Evernight Corridor

In the Northern Lands, humans and other races live side by side. The Ye Tan clan lives in seclusion on Frostcliff, its bloodline sealed with the power of the Moon Goddess. Ye Li is the last of her family, with eyes like crimson gold and the fate of a foxfire bearer. Branded an ill omen, she sees her destiny change when the Heartflame Compass first appears during the awakening of the new moon. Xie Wuwang comes from a rival branch and commands the power of thunder. Cold and aloof, he faces the coming alignment of the Nine Stars, as the Nether Abyss threatens to break free of its seal. Only those whose “heartflames resonate” can open the Eternal Night Corridor. Ye Li has been imprisoned by her clan for ten years. Now Xie Wuwang has appeared, the barrier is destabilizing, and a kill order has been issued. She embarks on a desperate flight, searching for fragments of a covenant and uncovering the truth about her ancestors. Foxfire scorches the heavens, thunder hammers split the sky, and the twin flames begin to resonate. The Five Realms are in turmoil, and the corridor is on the verge of opening.
