Others Sail with Cannons, but I Sail the Underworld with Ghosts

The world’s seas undergo a sudden transformation, and rifts in the Nethersea unleash ghost ships. With resources on land depleted, humanity enters an age of universal seafaring. Chen Mo, once a mechanical engineering student, is trapped at an abandoned dock when he unexpectedly awakens the Spirit-Seer’s Eye. He can recruit the lingering souls of dead sailors, command spirits in battle, and possess warships to defy fate. From the start, he has only a rusty iron-hulled boat. Shunned and isolated, with no one to rely on, his first battle is against a strange creature in the shallows: a drowned water wraith. The spirit sailor “Iron Anchor” Wang helps him break through, ushering in a struggle for survival in the Nethersea. Pirates attack, whirlpools swallow ships, and a sunken passenger liner conceals the diary of the first navigators. He acquires Nether Crystals, upgrades his warship, and establishes the first safe anchorage. The Spirit-Seer’s Eye reveals the truth of the abyss. His ghostly army rises, and he sets sail for unknown haunted waters. He is an outcast, yet also the one to set sail at the dawn of a new age of navigation.
